Tequila Sipping: Grab the Lime and Salt

Today, July 24th is National Tequila Day, not to be confused with National Margarita Day (February 22). This agave-based spirit is aged in barrels, some, up to 30 years to create the perfect flavor. Tequila drinkers consume over 50 million liters of tequila in America annually. Don’t quote me, but some studies says, that consuming tequila can cut risks of dementia by 37%. And, it is also said to have a component that can help lower LDL levels, aka bad cholesterol.

So, if you love tequila--we’ve got you covered! I know, some of you may be a bit put off by the idea of sipping straight tequila or even tequila as a whole. But I got you covered too.
