Little Moments, Big Memories
Some of the best memories in life come in between the little moments. Serena recently had her preschool stepping-up ceremony which was outdoors. And since it’s officially the sticky time of year, we opted for something that would have her looking and feeling cool. One of the best parts about having girls is getting to share my love of fashion with them. Serena is a girly girl to the max, and she loves to play dress up. If it’s up to her, her closet would be filled with nothing but dresses.
As usual, she picks from two outfits what she would like to wear. For this particular occasion, it was the H&M Jumpsuit in soft viscose chambray with snap fasteners on one shoulder and short butterfly sleeves. It featured side pockets, elasticized seam and decorative bow at waist, and elasticized hems it was the perfect choice for the rising temps. We paired it with her pink Disney Princess dress shoes from Payless.
She’s getting a bit older, so why not let her dream big with these girls peep-toe shoes with glittery bow and ankle straps. I loved the little one inch wrapped block heel, and the skid-resistant rubber outsole.
After her ceremony we had a fun little photo shoot. She got to pick her spots, and poses while mom captured it all. It’s always great spending one-on-one mommy/daughter time, especially when it takes minimal planning with doses of creativity.
