The Beehive is Buzzing with the Birth of Beyonce and Jay-Z's Twins

According to multiple reports, Jay and Bey welcomed twins in the most anticipated celebrity births. On Sunday, Father’s Day TMZ and E! News sources reported that the Knowles-Carter twins had arrived. And though we’re still not yet sure when the secret birth actually took place, some says it was June 12.

The news of the pregnancy was first announced by Beyoncé herself on Instagram in February, showing off her baby bump and wearing a green veil while kneeling in front of a floral wreath in a styled pregnancy-photo. The photo quickly became the most liked post on social media, breaking an Instagram record.

The queen of the beehive and her mogul husband, were married in 2008, and are also parents to a five-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy. And, though the power couple have yet to confirm the sex and name of their twins, many thought we might have gotten a clue, when President Obama hinted during his pre-taped remarks during Jays’ induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame (from which he was noticeably absent) on Thursday in New York City. Jay who was noticeable absent, and according to E sources was reportedly spotted with Blue Ivy at a Los Angeles-area hospital on Thursday.

"Jay and I are also fools for our daughters, although he’s going to have me beat once those two twins show up,” Obama said. However, US Weekly is reporting that “Blue Ivy has a new little brother and sister! Beyoncé gave birth to twins, a baby boy and girl, on Monday, June 12.”
