Hello Gorgeous! Hope you had a wonderful Labor Day weekend? Certainly the weekend barbecues, beach getaways and vacations have come to an end. However, that doesn’t mean my life has gone back to being routine. In fact, it's the complete opposite! But the thing about being successful is that you have to make the decision to seek out success. And so, I've decided that it’s non-negotiable to fail. Which brings me to the question of, “Are the things that happen in your life the result of fate or free will?” First, let's define the two: fate deals with the idea that things are out of one's control, and free will deals with the ability to control one's own path. While I do believe that we're all born to a destiny, a hidden power that controls the future. I also believe that we all have free will. The events that happen in our lives are comprised of both fate and free will. We may make our own decisions, but can also be fated by others’ decisions. So, do we now blame fate for everything? No! That would just be an excuse for all our bad life choices.

Fate or destiny do not free us from making our own decisions. #fate #freewill #choices

Fate or destiny do not free us from making our own decisions. Life is always poised with various choices, and every choice we make influences our pathway. As I go through this thing called life, I find that it gets harder for so many reasons—I’m now a full-time student, I have both a toddler and a teenager, I have a part time job, and I also have a business. But I have to do it anyway. Is it harder for some? Sure! But, no one else out there is doing it because it’s easy.

Are the things that happen in our lives the result of of fate or free will? Is our destiny totally out of our control or are we able to make logical choices? Life is hard, but one has to figure out how to push through. It's hard for everyone, but saying we are fated, would be saying we're not responsible for our own actions.

Do you believe that we are genuinely able to choose our own path, or are we instead predetermined?
