The Diversity Procurement Conference 2016
Hi savvy ladies… mark your calendars! Save the date for The Diversity Procurement Conference 2016.
Women-owned businesses are the fastest growing startups in the US. And with more than 300,000 women-owned start-ups in New York City, these businesses continue to receive a disappointingly small share of City government procurement contracts. So in an effort to help women-owned businesses grow, NACC with its partners make it possible for them to gain opportunities with city, state and federal agencies as well as corporate America; hence their annual procurement conference and expo.
The last time I attended this event, I was there to get brain food, as well as to network. This year, even though my reasons have not changed, I am proud to to say I will be one of the speakers. I will be on the VIP Track fashion panel, sharing tips on “Building A Sustainable Fashion Brand”, as well as teaching one of the breakout session - “How to Start a Fashion Blog”.
The Diversity Procurement Conference will be held at the BNY Mellon, 101 Barclay Street, New York, 8:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. Registration is now open through March 18 at 12:00 noon, and will close after deadline. Walk-in are not allowed so be sure to register.
