Low Manipulation Protective Hairstyle + Minimal Makeup that Wows
Today we’re talking simple and easy to do hair and makeup, which is the theme for this Spring. And when you’re as busy as I am, plus have a little one, you need to spend the least time on your grooming - yet still look your best. If you follow me on social you may have noticed that I’m a protective hairstyle and makeup kind of gal. And loving it! I am a natural sister who likes to wear my own real hair in styles like a wash-and-go or twist out. And when I go protective my styles of choice are usually two-strand twists or the rare medium box braids. A protective style is a great way to allow your hair to thrive - giving your natural strands a break from everyday manipulation. However, a low manipulation protective hairstyle, limits the amount of unnecessary damage to your hair while retaining the length - and is far less taxing.
Here's a fabulous look that I’ve been rocking and loving! This effortless low manipulation protective hairstyle - a crochet style [done by my daughter's friend], which is not only extremely simply but also beautiful. I usually go lighter in color but is loving the decision to go with these black curls. All I have to do is just fluff with my fingers and go.
These days, I spend a total of about 10 minutes on both hair and make-up. And that's because as I mentioned here, my skin has been treating me really great these days. I've been going simple, pretty and fresh with my makeup, staying in line with the season's take on Latin - tabula rasa. Perfect skin to highlight a singular makeup statements. Here I opted to play up my pouts.
