  1. As a lifestyle editor and event planner, my first tip is to start prepping for your party well ahead of time so you don’t feel overwhelmed. Break things down into smaller daily tasks to get things done before “D” day.
  2. Secondly, do your cleaning and setup the day before, so on party day all you have to do is layout the food with plenty of time to get glamorous.
  3. When it comes to centerpieces think simple elegance. Grab some flowers from the local grocer and place in a glass vase with water,  a few acorns from the back yard or some brightly colored fruits in a glass vase.
  4. No lighting is better than candle light when it comes to creating an ambiance; and is a great way to convey warmth and comfort.
