NYFW SS16: Art Hearts Fashion is Paving the Future of the Fashion Industry
It has been one of the busiest New York Fashion Week for me yet. And one of the invites I received was from the prestigious bi-coastal fashion platform Art Hearts Fashion. This fashion week Art Hearts Fashion is having a week of amazing showing at five historic locations. One of their presentation was hosted at Vanderbilt Hall, Grand Central presented by AIDS Healthcare Foundation in association with FTL Moda; where Art Hearts Fashion Founder and Designer Erik Rosete opened the show with his Mister Triple X "Vortex" collection. Here is a roundup of my favorite pieces from each of the 5 designers, whose designs are worn by every major celebrity including: Beyonce, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Niki Minaj, Rita Ora, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Carrie Underwood, and many more.
Mister Triple X
Mister Triple X debuted a flirtatious metallic pallet featuring rich body-con dresses, shorts along with his signature bunny ears.
Zachary/Nathaniel was next to the runway, they presented an inspired collection of dark hues, plunging necklines and leather pieces. The collection demonstrated pairing of sheer and leather, and draping which made for flattering silhouettes.
Tarek Sinno accentuated the feminine form with fanciful ornate detailing, rich colors and unexpected structure. I personally loved the fluid lines and intricate jeweling.
Gregorio Sanchez bright pops of color, intricate hand embroidery detailing was to die for. This cohesive and feminine collection featured sexy pieces which expressed a natural and vibrant energy.
Cary Santiago closed the evening with a flirtatious collection full of high drama pieces. The collection demonstrated the designer’s artistry. The pieces I thought are impeccably crafted for strong confident women.
Art Hearts Fashion is paving the way toward the future of Fashion Industry, with a philanthropic drive that stretches from coast to coast. Official sponsors included The Organic Face™ (makeup) and Marrakesh (hair) worked with the designers to bring their visions to life.
How do you think the Art Hearts Fashion platform is doing?
