So how do you add YOU TIME to your already crazy life? Emily says it’s all about prioritizing, which means placing your health and well being higher on your priority list. If you don’t take the time to look after and nurture yourself, you won't have the energy, health and satisfaction of a more fulfilled life. So what does this means? Daily movement (as if we need more), nutritious food, keeping your health and weight in check, and allowing yourself at least 30 minutes a day to just breathe, have fun and relax.

Emily is asking all of us to sit, relax and write down our short and long term fitness goals. Write them down, then honor these goals by making the time. She says just 30 minutes a day for yourself will allow you to become happier, healthier, more energetic and more focused... With the new energy positively affecting those around you. Emily wants us to be the person that everyone else wants to be, the one that takes the time for their own body and health, and as a result radiates confidence, health, love and happiness.

Famous for her fun, easy but result driven training methods, her top tip to get started is to build the exercise into your life, by training smarter not harder. She says to try this one at home and watch those thighs and butt tone up.

Emily’s “Hollywood Smile Squats”

Celebrity Trainer Emily recommends these squats for their bottom-lifting and leg-shaping benefits [amazing toned butt and thighs] without any extra time added to your day, and with a great smile to match!

Brushing our teeth twice a day for 3 minutes is important for oral health and to achieve a great Hollywood Smile. So twice a day as you brush your teeth, Emily wants you to do your Sumo Squats (also known by the feminine name plié squat). Set your timer for 3 minutes or count to 60 squats. Don’t forget to floss for 1 minute afterwards!

HOW TO:

  • Stand with legs wide and toes pointed outward slightly.
  • Bend down, moving from the hips not the knees, until just before your knees get to a 90° angle, checking that your knees do not move forward over your toes. Then straighten your legs. This completes one rep.
  • Squat for the 3 minutes of teeth brushing or approximately 60 reps.
