A Love and Marriage by Design
Neither of them wanted to go out the night they met - Lynette was still mourning someone dear to her but her sister thought she would take her out for some cheering up... Marcus just wanted to get some much needed rest for work the next day, when his friend dragged him out... There was instant chemistry, Lynette thought she could just brush it under the rug but Marcus on the other hand had other ideas. The harder Lynette tried to drive him away was the more strategic Marcus became in his endeavors (could you ignore it if the love of your life just showed up?). By the time Lynette realized she was in love it was too late; Marcus already had a strong hold on her heart. Fast forward to the cold night of November 4th, 2013 - Lynette's birthday. Marcus took her for a helicopter ride on which he asked her to be his wife. This couple was one of the sweetest I have had the pleasure of planning for - they were easy to work with and were so ready to be joined as one, it wasn't even a question.
The wedding colors were blue, white, and a touch of yellow, with the wedding ceremony and reception both held in the same room at Princess Manor, Brooklyn. Lynette wore a mermaid gown with a sweet heart neckline, the matron of honor in yellow and the bridesmaid wore blue. The guys all wore white with vest that matched the ladies dresses. They also had a replica of the helicopter made into a cake as a reminder of the new heights that their relationship was about to take.
