Inside My Weekend: ICollection Harlem Fashion Week show, photoshoot and more

Daylight Savings Time brought with it some warm weather this weekend - a weekend I survived on just 4 hours of sleep.  If you're a regular reader you might have noticed some major changes on the blog, that is because I made the move  to self hosted WordPress.  I found that it wasn't has difficult as I thought, though not as easy going as blogger, but with a bit of research and a few plugins later this is it!

In between my blog designing, I had a photoshoot with a new upcoming artist for which I did makeup and wardrobe styling. The shoot went great and we all had lots of fun. I did some event decor for a 90th birthday celebration and met with a few local brands to discuss collaborations.

I also attended the ICOLLECTIONS Harlem Fashion Week popup boutique trunk and runway show at the Hudson River Cafe, showcasing spring and summer fashions from Fashionable Fits and Sophia's Things while DJ Hova T filled our ears with the latest hip-hop music.  The event which was sponsored by Vera Moore CosmeticsFashion Avenue News Magazine and ISOPLUS, featured an array of vendors including Apple Butter Boutique,  GlamExpressway, Michele of Ardyss International and Chic Studios NYC Lash Bar.

Amongst the buzz of photographers and bloggers in attendance, were my fellow blogging sisters The Naturalista, Ms Rexti, and Pens and Pumps.
