Aspirin is a non-steroid anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used as a pain, anti-inflammatory, and fever reducer.  It is also known to reduce blood coagulation and in low doses help prevent heart attacks. Aspirin is one of the most widely used medications for both medical and non-medical purposes.
Today I will share some of its unusual beauty, fashion and lifestyle uses.  Please note always consult your doctor before use of any medication, and if allergic to aspirin do not apply aspirin externally.

Dry up zits and pimples fast by crushing aspirin, add a few drops of water or lemon juice to create a paste.  Apply to pimple, leave to dry then wash with soap and water.  This will help soothe and reduce the redness and pimple.

Control dandruff by crushing two to three aspirins and add to your shampoo as you wash your hair.  Be sure to leave on hair for up to 3 minutes before rinsing, then lather hair again with plain shampoo.
Control the inflammation of insect bites and stings by rubbing a wet aspirin to the affected area.

Rid perspiration and protein stains from your garments by crushing several aspirins, mix with warm water, then soak stained area for up to three hours before laundering (protein stains include egg and blood stains).
Keep freshly cut flowers lasting longer  by adding a crushed aspirin to the water.  Aspirin solution helps plants stay alive longer through traumatic experiences.

Clean your jewelry by crushing three aspirins, add warm water then add jewelry and leave to sit for a few minutes.

Crank up your car battery by adding two crushed aspirin into each battery cell.  The aspirin creates electrolytic stimulant that will provide the charge to turn over your engine.

Return your hair color by crushing several aspirin, add to luke-warm water and then apply to hair to help rid green color caused by chlorine.
